Rules & Policies
The Piccolo Chef Cancellation Policy
Cooking Classes
When you reserve a spot for a cooking class, full payment is required at the time the reservation is made. If you cancel at least 7 days prior to the start of classes, your payment will be refunded. If you must cancel after that deadline, we will issue you a Piccolo Chef credit toward another class. However, because we must order food in advance for each registered student, no credit will be given if you cancel within 7 days of the class unless the spot is taken by another student. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, Piccolo Chef will contact the students registered and arrange a credit or a refund.
Our schedule of classes is always changing and we sometimes add new classes due to customer interest and we sometimes have to cancel a class due to low enrollment. If we must cancel a class, we will notify those who signed up and we will happily offer you a credit for another class of your choice.
Students with allergies or food restrictions are welcome. Please call or email us for details. Class menus are subject to change.
Birthday Parties
When you reserve a kitchen for a birthday party, a $200 dollar deposit is required at the time the reservation is made. If you cancel at least 14 days prior to the party, your payment will be refunded. If you cancel within 14 days of the party, all monies paid will be forfeited unless the kitchen is booked for another event.
Summer and School Vacation Camp
When you reserve a spot in summer or school vacation camp, full payment is required at the time the reservation is made. If you cancel at least 14 days prior to the start of camp, your payment will be refunded. If you cancel within 14 days of the start of camp, your payment will be forfeited unless the spot is taken by another child.
For All Events or Classes
If a class is canceled due to low enrollment, Piccolo Chef will contact the students registered and arrange a credit or a refund.
Food Allergies or Other Dietary Restrictions
Nut Allergies
In the classes most recipes we select allow the option of including or excluding nuts and we set up for each child accordingly. However, it is important to note that Piccolo Chef is not a nut free facility. Any nuts that are on site are stored in enclosed containers. We are unable to take responsibility for allergic reactions to foodstuffs. Food prepared both on and off site may contain traces of nuts.
Other Food Allergies or Religious Dietary Restrictions
We also try to accommodate children with other allergies like milk allergies, sesame, soy, etc. As long as you let the Piccolo Chef staff know when you register your child that there are food allergies or dietary restrictions like no pork or no shellfish we always try to find a substitution for the student.
It is VERY IMPORTANT that you indicate these issues when you register for the class.
