Celestino Drago
Celebrity Chef Celestino Drago (Drago Ristorante, Enoteca Drago) moved from his native Sicily to Los Angeles in 1979 at the age of 22 to become chef at Orlando Orsini. After working as chef at various successful restaurants, he opened il Panino at MOCA in 1984. A year later, Celestino in Beverly Hills opened to immediate success. In 1991, Drago Ristorante was born.
A haven for fine regional Italian cuisine, Drago remains an integral part of Los Angeles' dining culture, and consistently ranks on numerous "best-of" lists. The success of Drago Ristorante allowed Celestino and his brothers to open Il Pastaio in Beverly Hills, Celestino Ristorante in Pasadena, Enoteca Drago in Beverly Hills, and Drago Centro in downtown LA. Celestino Drago has created his own recipe for success.
Chef Drago’s accolades include being named Food & Wine's Best New Chef, being counted among the National Kidney Foundation's 17th Annual Great Chefs of Los Angeles and Angeleno Magazine has aptly referred to him as an "Icon and Legend." He is inspired by his Sicilian roots and loves to teach the joy of food to Piccolo Chef families.

Upon completion of his apprenticeship, he returned to Casa Bianca, but this time he wasn’t bussing tables – he returned as Chef! Whitney Oakes Webster
Chef Whitney Oakes Webster (WOW!) grew up in the artistic foodie town of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Enticed by the world of flavor and adventure, this globetrotter has bitten into: Argentina, Peru, Nepal, Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, India, Cuba, Italy and Spain. You name it, and Whitney has probably been there, shopped at the local farmer’s market, and knows the fish monger’s name and favorite spice! After leaving her ‘real job’ in 2010 for Gordon Ramsey’s show MasterChef (she beat out tens of thousands of contestants to make the top 10!), she realized working with food was a must. Known for her home-made, home-grown, healthy spin on things, this blondie gets more excited about fresh eggs and local honey than a pair of new shoes. If she’s not teaching, you can usually find her working for The Food Network or KIN EATS as part of their Culinary teams. Come share her excitement, hear her stories from around the world…and let yourself be WOWed!
Livier Hastings
Livier Hastings is a food activist and Assistant Chef Instructor for the Jamie Oliver Food Foundation’s “Big Rig” mobile teaching kitchen; she has a passion for cooking as well as healthy eating, and is the mother of three children, all of whom share her passion. Livier’s love for cooking began as a child when she watched her Godmother cook in the ancient kitchen of a 200-year old Hacienda in the heart of Guadalajara, Mexico. Her passion continued to grow when she was living in Provence where she co-owned a traditional French Bakery and Pastry shop with her husband. Livier just completed a year-long stay in the Grand Cayman Islands, where she decided to end her career as an Interior Designer and focus full-time on the fascinating world of food. She has studied under the tutelage of Chef Katia Soujol of The Four Seasons Beverly Wilshire Hotel, and Chef Pierre Juès, formerly the Executive Pastry Chef at both the Hyatt Regency Resort in Aruba and at Tavern of the Green in New York. She loves teaching children the importance of cooking and healthy eating.
