The New Year started out with a bang for Piccolo Chef! Lots of exciting projects and a new location are in the works! (That reminds me – this week we need to pick our new kitchen for the classroom!) Yes, girls and boys, we are coming soon to the Hollywood/Studio City area with our own location for classes, birthday parties and much more! I can’t say what the ‘much more’ is right now – it’s a secret! But here’s a hint: it is a super-cool new way of learning to cook and, at the same time, honing your mad skillz as the next new Top Chef!
As another school year begins, we'd like to share with you something very special… a Manifesto, if you will, of the Food Rights of Children. There is a lot of talk right now around school lunches, Jamie Oliver (our hero!), anti-obesity movements and the like, but this really strips it all down to its very roots. It comes from a dear friend and collaborator of ours in Milan, Federica Buglioni (http://www.bambiniincucina.it/) . Federica will be blogging here very soon, so it’s good that we introduce her now.
Piccolo Chef founders Tina Fanelli Moraccini and Lilian Palmieri in KABC's Los Angeles studio with show host Susan Irby and the Bikini Chef team. The program airs on Bikini Lifestyles on 790AM this Sunday, August 14 at 6AM. Or catch it on Piccolochef.com!
Thanks for your Groupon purchase! We would like to let you all know that at the present time we are offering only our Summer Camps for kids ages 6-17. We will add more single classes in all age groups - including adults!- in August and then again in September, with the start of the school year. Please hang on to those Groupons, as they are good for a full year and we will have plenty of classes for you before then! Please call us for any questions you may have at 310.295.4208.
